Subject: Re: [mind-l] CES in general WAS neurotrek and some naughtinessHey guys, PhDs and the like. I've monkeyed around with CES (sans the naughtyness) and I'm honestly afraid to get my feet wet, because let's face it, my
brain is already somewhat F'ed up, got even more F'ed up by antidepressants, and there's no telling how F'ed up it could get just screwing around on my own.
Nevertheless, I use The Force with a very mild amplitude, and still get
headaches and feel nausea and a general awkwardness afterward (today in particular I'm feeling grumpy and unwilling to live normally).
I've basically decided that the Force is a piece of pidgeon poop that I was unreasonably
steered into buying in lieu of a much better machine, the Alpha-Stim. I literally credit the Alpha Stim with curing 99 percent of my depression simply because the before and after difference was that substantial. I also appreciate
the fact that the current is more noticeable, whereas with the Force, all I seem to notice is the nausea even after turning the amp down all the way.
For those willing, riddle me this:
Does anyone who's used The Force have
anything good to say about it? How about the Nustar? I used to use a Nustar because Michael Hutchinson said in a book that an amazing aerospace engineer built it, tested it on a bunch of people, and watched them cure all their
diseases (good thing he didn't have to record any evidence of this before he died unexpectedly of his own strange ailment). I see lots of them for sale on this group, but I've never seen anything positive written about the thing,
much less as positive as the above "paraphrased" hyperbole from Megabrain Power.
Next, is there anyone who actually seeks clinical help that is willing to experiment with these machines? Since I'm having cognitive
difficulties, trying to figure out what's up with my brain that I HAVE cognitive difficulties is a little bit difficult (heh). It seems to me that from reading this group, most people just seem to be on their own track, collecting
tidbits about how their own brains work, and screwing with them at will.
Finally, has anyone actually got benefit from passing their own natural reluctances-- when instinct is telling them not to go any further or to take the
earclips off? I laugh when I think that both the Alpha Stim and the Force have a 100mhz setting, and while the Alpha Stim limits the amplitude to a mere fraction of the .5 setting, the Force doesn't... has anyone actually USED this
and not fried themselves silly?
