Dear Dr. Kirsch,

I think I owe a great deal of teh quality of my life to you. A huge thank you for the CES machine!!

You will remember you advised me to wear the CES machine during my brain surgery which took place on  13.3.00. My neuro-surgeon Mr. P.S. Dias (who I understand is a leading brain surgeon in the U.K.) had no problem with me wearing it, however, my anethetist was a little concerned that it may interfere with his equipment or vice versa. I gave him a copy of the fax you sent to me along with the book you wrote and highlighted areas of interest. He had a think about it and suggested I came down to surgery with it and he would give it a chance. I told him I would bow to his judgement and any problems to remove it from me.

Apparently, I wore it throughout surgery - obviously I don’t remember, and I woke from surgery feeling the best post-op I’d ever felt which is pretty amazing considering it was brain surgery and the most serious surgery I’d ever undergone! Surgery took about 3.5 hours and I honestly have no side effects. At first my left leg and hand were a little “fizzy” and sometimes a little slow but no paralysis or stroke which I had been warned were strong possibilities. It quickly wore off though and possibly I can put that down to using the CES machine to help the healing process.

I would have written sooner though sometimes the computer screen makes me feel nauseous as I am undergoing radiotherapy at present. I have since been discharged by Mr. Dias as he states that surgery was as successful as it could possibly be, meaning that he removed all of the tumour, needless to say my spirits are sky high, and I’m sure I shall feel physically sky high soon too!

My very best friend Rosa-Lyn Jones, (who owns the CES machine and also met you at the Life-Tools Seminar during the Summer of 1998), and myself now feel we have an important story to tell in order to be inspirational to others. We really feel that all the complimentary therapies we did pre and post op and indeed are continuing as a way of life, including the CES machine, have all been vital in achieving the result I have. We have a day time television programme here called This Morning which is presented by a married couple. On 10.5.00 Sir Ronald Ferguson was on promoting a pain relief maching which he explained is excellent to reduce is arthritis pain. Unfortunately, he did not seem to know much else about the machine such as the inventors name etc. I did not see the programme as I was in Stoke-on-Trent receiving radiotherapy, but Rosa-Lyn did watch and rang on the helpline to see if This Mornings researchers were interested in our story. they were extremely interested as they are looking to run a future programme along a similar vein. What we hope is that with your permission we could promote the CES machine and also the benefits of complimentary medicines.

All that is required of us at this stage is a brief outline letter and I should like to include your e-mail address if this is OK with you.

Once again Dr. Kirsch, thank you for your time in responding to my e-mail and thank you for the wonderful CES machine!

Kind regards,

Jayne Slymn & Rosa-Lyn Jones
